The following rates apply to Heavy Highway or Building Construction Hazardous Waste Projects in Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana Counties in Ohio.

Wages for employees working in direct contact with a hazardous/toxic material which is classified Level A or Level B by the United States Environmental Protection Agency and who are required to wear personal protective equipment for respiratory, skin or eye protection for that level of work shall be paid at the rate of an additional 20%.

Wages for employees working in direct contact with asbestos material and who are required to wear personal protective equipment for respiratory, skin or eye protection for that level of work shall be paid at the rate of an additional 20%. Those rates are as follows for Levels A & B asbestos:

Wages for employees in direct contact with asbestos material and who are required to wear protective equipment for respiratory, skin or eye protection for that level of work shall be paid at the rate of an additional 20%. The rates for Level A, B & Asbestos are as follows:

APPRENTICE RATES
1st Year $4.00 less than prescribed rate plus full fringes.
2nd Year $3.50 less than prescribed rate plus full fringes.
3rd Year $2.50 less than prescribed rate plus full fringes.
4th Year $2.00 less than prescribed rate plus full fringes.
